PETALS OF DARKNESS II
Fine Art Photography – Cédric Brion
Between mystery, elegance, and ephemeral beauty, Petals of Darkness II explores the multiple facets of female identity through a photographic composition imbued with poetry and symbolism.
The face of the female figure appears fragmented through a play of geometric overlays, creating a singular encounter between different perspectives.
A black lace veil partially conceals her gaze, heightening the enigmatic atmosphere of the composition.
Flowers in copper and golden hues seem to emerge from the darkness like precious elements.
They bring a softness that contrasts with the depth of the black and the strength of the portrait.
Their presence evokes the fragility of beauty, the passage of time, and transformation.
The play of facial fragmentation suggests a plural identity, made of contrasts, perceptions, and secrets.
Each fragment reveals a part of the being, without ever fully unveiling its mystery.
