Cédric Brion is a Belgian photographic artist based in Mons, whose practice explores the boundaries between reality, atmosphere and imagination.
His artistic journey began at the age of eighteen with analogue photography and the intimate process of developing his own images.
His early work was strongly rooted in landscape photography, where he developed a particular sensitivity to light, composition, perspective and panoramic vision.
Today, Brion works across two complementary bodies of work: large-format Fine Art landscape photography and dark, introspective Fine Art portraiture.
His panoramic landscapes are conceived as immersive photographic works rather than simple representations of places.
Many are created by carefully stitching together three high-resolution photographs, allowing him to preserve an exceptional amount of detail while achieving greater tonal richness, spatial depth and visual presence.
